If you previously had a Healthcare.gov account, your info SHOULD have migrated over to Pennie. For our long-time clients, we in most cases are still attached to service your health insurance needs, year-round! Our help and support is at no cost to you – the price is the same as it is on Pennie.com. We are paid by the carriers to assist clients and we are ONLY paid if we are your designated broker in your account.

For those who are not currently a client and wish to work with us, please see below instructions on how to attach us to your account, so that we can be your broker. You can also call 1-844-844-4440 to make sure you are still attached or to request one of us as your broker:

Pennie.com is not meant for everyone. If your income (Modified Adjusted Gross Income based on your Federal Income Tax filing) is too low or high to qualify for the “Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC)”, known as a “subsidy”, you may be better-off applying directly through the insurance carrier. We can help you do this via our secure carrier portals. If your income is too low to qualify, you may explore eligibility for PA State’s Medicaid program. We can help or direct you to the right place, no matter your situation! We do not charge any fees for our time or service!

Step 1: Go to https://enroll.pennie.com/hix and click “Browse for health and dental plans”

Step 2: At the bottom of the page select “skip and sign up”

Step 3: Set Up Your Individual Account on Pennie and Then go to “Find Local Assistance”

Step 4: Click on “Find A Pennsylvania Certified Agent Or Broker Near You”

Step 5: In the last name section type “Covell” for Joseph L. Covell and “Knauss” for Parslee Robyn Knauss

Step 6: Click on “Joseph L. Covell” under Name (Parslee Knauss if you selected her)

Step 7: Click on “Select Agent”

Note: if you are not in an account you will not see “Select Agent”, see above!

Step 8: Check the boxes, type your name, and click confirm!

Step 9: One of us is now your Broker!

From this point you can either start or continue an application or have us do it for you! You will see everything we do on your behalf with your complete permission. You can always change your mind and restrict this access.
