Joe Covell and Robyn Barto wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! As you shop Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, don’t forget the clock is ticking for Obamacare/Affordable Care Act (December 15th for January 1st Coverage, and Final Deadline January 15th for 2021 Coverage in Pennsylvania) and Medicare (December 7th), before the open enrollment periods come to an end! Don’t Miss Out!
Insurance Brokers are as Small Business as it gets! At Doitformeinsurance.com, our services are 100% free to you (no fees and no price differences). We are paid to support you throughout the year if we are linked to your Pennie.com account. Pennie retained our previous Healthcare.gov relationship as the broker for MOST of our clients.
If we connected regarding 2021 coverage, you need not read further. If we have not connected, in most cases, our Healthcare.gov clients have been auto-enrolled into Pennie coverage for 2021. You can make changes to coverage up to the deadline of January 15 , 2021.
Pennie made the process easier for us to coordinate with our clients, or those who would like to become clients (no fees or price increases for service). You can easily add us to your Pennie.com account so that we can assist you year-round (we do ALL forms of insurance).
If we have already enrolled you for 2021, look out for communications from Pennie in case they request additional information – we can help if you alert us. If you have a friend or loved one who needs help, feel free to pass along our contact information!
Our consultations can be done over the phone, zoom or video conferencing platform of your choice. The fastest way to get in touch with us is via text (267-374-0975) or email!
Here is a step by step walkthrough for how you can make sure we remain your broker, or if you would like us to become your broker (or view instructions for PA on our website)! Click here for NJ, Click Here for MD, and Click Here for Most Other States
We are located in Willow Grove, PA, with the majority of our clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, but we service and are experts in many other states, including but not limited to: VA, MD, DE, FL, GA, MS, KS, NE, OK, MO, OH, PA, NJ, MS, MI, TN, NC, SC, NH, TX, and more!
We Handle ALL Insurances, But Health Is Our Specialty!
We pride ourselves in only working with real insurance carriers who offer realistic health insurance options. These would include:
- ACA Plans – On and Off Exchange (healthcare.gov, and state based exchanges)
- Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Plans
- Obamacare Alternatives with REAL Insurance Companies
- Association Options utilizing Cigna PPO and Aetna PPO Networks
- Group Insurance both Fully Insured and Level Funded Options
- Dental and Vision
Our product offerings go much further, including:
- Life Insurance
- Home and Auto
- All Business Lines
- Travel Medical
- Annuities, Disability, and Long Term Care
There exist misconceptions regarding the service of brokers, and with all the “nonsense insurance products” being pushed and service fees charged, this is rightfully so. Any true independent health insurance broker is paid by health insurance carriers to assist consumers. The price we quote you is the exact same as if you were to call the companies directly or Healthcare.gov/State Based Exchanges (Pennie, GetCoveredNJ, MarylandHealthConnection, ect). We don’t charge fees, because we build our business by truly helping consumers. Carriers will sell to you, but cannot give you personal help and attention (or shop their competition).
The majority of our clients are covered by an Obamacare (ACA) or Medicare plan, but this is not a fit for everyone’s needs and budget, so people are looking for alternatives, There are garbage plans out there and call centers doing serious harm to consumers by selling products which are not insurance. We only work with reputable companies. The closest alternative to ACA coverage is a Short Term Medical Plan. Individual State Governments now decide how long a short term policy can be (it used to a be a standard 3 month max). In PA the max duration was extended to 360 days, and United Healthcare has been selling like wildfire. TX, Fl, GA, AZ, and many other states allow a 12 month policy to be renewed for up to 3 years. Our recommendation is pairing a United Healthcare (one the country’s biggest health insurers) Short Term Medical plan (if you can pay in one upfront payment you can save 20%) with a Health Protector Guard for a comprehensive package (their vision and dental plans are outstanding as well). This Coverage is not allowed in NJ.
Have a safe and happy holiday season, we are here to help make this process easy!
Best wishes,
Joseph L Covell
