Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) 2026: Today is December 7th The Final Day!
The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is coming to an end in just a few hours. Today is the deadline for anyone who needs to change their Stand Alone Part D Drug Plan, has Original Medicare and wants to enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan, or wants to change their current Medicare Advantage Plan to another for January 1st.
If you are losing your Medicare Advantage Plan on 12/31/25, the letter you received from your carrier should state that you have sixty three days from the date your plan is terminating. If you are new to Medicare or coming off work or spousal coverage, this deadline usually does not apply, so there is no need to make a last minute panic decision.
